The Russian flag was destroyed by residents of Myronivka, Melitopol district.
Residents of one of the occupied villages of the Melitopol district burned the Russian flag on the cultural center. When the fire spread to the house, no one even tried to put it out.
As the Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, reported on Telegram, “the residents of Melitopol, even in the 9th month of the occupation, clearly show their resistance to something racist.”
“In the village of Myronivka, Melitopol district, someone wanted to get rid of the hated Russian tricolor on the local cultural center so much that they had to sacrifice the whole building,” Fedorov wrote.
At the same time, he noted that none of the locals even tried to extinguish the fire.
“After all, the people who survive the occupation want to see the “Russian world” only in the flames of hell,” Fedorov emphasized.
The situation in Melitopol
On November 14, 2022, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, stated that almost the entire temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia has no power supply. This includes large cities, such as Tokmak. In connection with the disappearance of electricity, problems with water began.
Serhiy Zgurets, director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, noted that the Russian occupiers are transferring troops to Melitopol from Kakhovka and Novaya Kakhovka. According to him, the liberation of Melitopol can cut off the Russians from supplies from the Russian Federation.
It was previously reported that the former commander of the US forces in Europe, retired general Ben Hodges, predicts the liberation of Melitopol and Mariupol from the occupiers already this winter.
