The journalist claims that the army in Russia is extremely radical.
Russian journalist Mykhailo Zyhar spoke about the current situation among the ruling elite of the Russian Federation.
“All my sources in Moscow agree: everything has changed, almost no one believes in Putin after Kherson. The most popular comparison these days is with Milosevic. My source close to the presidential administration assesses Putin’s prospects as follows: “He was always afraid to show weakness – and now he showed it, and it is obvious to everyone that he will be destroyed now. God willing, he has six months left.” Of course, he cannot explain exactly what will happen to Putin – it is more a feeling than concrete knowledge that he has. Big Russian businessmen, who until recently declared that the coming winter will be extremely difficult for Ukraine tragic, and for Europe – a terrible test, have now completely revised their forecasts. This does not mean that any of them is ready to take the initiative, but everyone is waiting for something,” he wrote in the material of Der Spiegel.
He reports that the army in Russia is even more radical.
“There is great dissatisfaction with the entire administration of the occupied territories and the military operation in general. The general idea is this: the Moscow officials are just squeezing money. All the posipaks, the deputy head of the presidential administration, who was responsible for the “integration” of the Kherson region into Russia, were actually just stealing. They did not begin to restore the region – as if they knew in advance that all this would be pointless,” Zyhar wrote.
The journalist claims that many of those who mercilessly criticize Putin, his decisions and the war itself, do not realize how much their critical thinking is corroded by propaganda.
“Almost everyone sooner or later began to say that the war was organized by the West, that it was a trap into which Putin was lured. And what’s worse, the Americans are doing everything to destroy Russia and the Russians, so this war will not end even after the fall of Pini. that the army will then take command and continue the fight. Putin’s invincibility is a hope that the current conspiratorial thinking will not last long either,” Zyhar added.
The situation in the Russian government: what is known
Earlier it was reported that the retreat from Kherson became a “very painful event” for the “Russian elites”, they came to understand that the war against Ukraine was lost.
Against the backdrop of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Moscow is preparing for a possible coup d’état. The Russian Federation fears that mass media, social networks, religious organizations, and even hypnosis will be used against the Kremlin.
Historian and political analyst Valery Solovei believes that the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Mykola Patrushev is currently considered the most likely candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation.
