He believes that the Russians are looking for techniques and methods of new combat operations.
The advisor of the President’s Office, Oleksiy Arestovych, explained why an air alert was announced today throughout the territory of Ukraine, except for the occupied Crimea.
He expressed his opinion in a conversation with Russian human rights defender Mark Feigin on YouTube. As you know, in recent days Ukrainians have been repeatedly warned about the threat of new massive shelling of the country.
“We do not forget about the threat of air raids, and today there was an attempt. The alarm was announced, but it was quickly canceled. The planes were actually in the air for at least 4.5 hours. We were waiting for a strike, but they did not strike,” he said.
Arestovych noted that the Il-22 aircraft, which can also conduct reconnaissance, were launched into the air.
“They could be training, they could just identify air defense positions, see how we react. We could train and simultaneously identify air defense positions,” he added.
According to the adviser of the President’s Office, the Russians are now looking for techniques and methods of new military operations.
“It is quite possible that they revealed our air defense group, because they are absolutely not satisfied with the result, when 70 of the 90 missiles launched are shot down,” Arestovych said.
Mass shelling of Ukraine
As reported, in recent months the Russian army has been systematically attacking the critical system of Ukraine. Due to this, stabilizing power outages were introduced in the country.
On November 27, President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that the Russians are preparing new strikes and will not stop as long as they have missiles.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that there is a threat of missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities.
In the morning, in all regions of Ukraine, except for the occupied Crimea, an air alert sounded. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained that there was a threat of a missile attack by operational-tactical complexes of the Russian Army.
