Two days ago, the occupiers forcibly removed people from the settlements on the spit – 37 people.
On the Kinburn spit, an operation in informational silence mode continues, it has been a long time.
As Vitaly Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said at a briefing, two days ago, the occupiers forcibly removed people from settlements on the spit – 37 people.
“Now the operation is underway in the mode of informational silence. We see it, we understand it, but… it is a matter of a long time, because there are peculiarities,” said Kim.
Operation on the Kinburn Spit
The Kinburn Spit is a sand spit located in the northwest of the Kinburn Peninsula between the Dnieper-Buzka estuary and the Black Sea. Now it is under the control of the occupiers.
On November 11, Kim announced that the entire Mykolaiv region had been liberated from the Russian invaders, but the Kinburn Spit, a sand spit in the northwestern part of the Kinburn Peninsula between the Dnieper-Buzka estuary and the Black Sea, remained under occupation. There are three settlements with a small population on the spit.
The ISW report claims that if Ukrainian troops take control of the Kinburn spit, they will repulse strikes by Russian invaders along the Black Sea coast controlled by Kyiv.
