On December 1, real winter weather is expected in some regions of Ukraine.

December in Ukraine will immediately declare that it is a winter month. On the 1st, in some regions of Ukraine, a 10-degree frost and strengthening of the wind to storm gusts is expected. Forecaster Natalia Didenko warned about this.

“In the coming night, the air in Kyiv region, Zhytomyr region, Chernihiv region, and certain areas of Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions will be noticeably colder, -5…-10 degrees is expected,” she predicted.

However, according to the forecaster, it will be moderately frosty -1…-5 degrees at night in the rest of Ukraine, and the air temperature will rise to -4°…+1° in the afternoon on December 1.

“The wind remains easterly, south-easterly, gusty, and strong storm gusts are possible in the east and south-east of Ukraine, including the water coastal zone,” Nataliya Didenko said.

According to her, dry weather will dominate tomorrow and the next few days in Ukraine, without precipitation.

“With the strengthening of the frost, the ice on the roads and sidewalks will increase – walk and drive very carefully!” – she warned.

According to forecaster Ihor Kibalchich, December 2022 in Ukraine can be divided into two parts. The first half of the month will be wet and dry, and precipitation and abnormal heat are expected in the second half.

It is expected that real winter weather will arrive on schedule – from the first days of December. At the same time, according to national forecaster Stanislav Shchedrin, December will be the warmest month of this winter with sufficient precipitation.

Forecasters of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center predict that the average monthly temperature and amount of precipitation in December will be within the climatic norm.
