Western sanctions hit one of Russia’s largest companies
The Russian oil company LUKOIL will stop exports from its Caspian oil fields through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. It is noted that this decision was made due to Western sanctions.
“Russian oil leaves BTC, the reason is sanctions, BTC does not let in Russian oil,” Reuters reports.
It is noted that the volume of exported oil is about 2 million tons per year. LUKOIL will be forced to redirect the oil that used to go through BTC to the pipeline of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium. In December, the company’s oil exports via this route will increase to 660,000 tons from 364 tons in November.
On June 7, Fiji’s Supreme Court allowed the U.S. to take the superyacht Amadea off the island at the request of Washington, which believes it belongs to sanctioned Russian billionaire Suleiman Kerimov.
On the other hand, there was a wave of suicides or suicide attempts in Russia. All this shows that friendship with the president of the Russian Federation can lead to the grave.
