The traitor praised the animal and declared that the invaders would not give it up.
A Kherson raccoon stolen by the occupiers bit the finger of a collaborator, Volodymyr Saldo. However, the traitor praised the animal saying that it “serves”.
The bite was captured on video, which the occupiers shared online. The footage shows Saldo trying to pet the animal. However, the raccoon, nicknamed Hers by the invaders, pounced on Saldo and bit his finger.
“Ah-ah-ah… Didn’t bite. Well, nothing. So it’s serving. Well done!”, said Saldo, no longer trying to approach the stolen raccoon.
When the propagandists asked whether the raccoon would be exchanged for monuments or captured occupiers, Saldo replied that no. The traitor dreams that the raccoon is with them forever.
Theft of a Kherson raccoon: the story of another Russian crime
In November, during the retreat from Kherson, the Russian occupiers stole a raccoon from the local zoo. As it turned out later, not only the raccoon, but also other animals were illegally taken to the occupied Crimea.
Ukrainian animal rights activists clarified that the theft of animals was not an initiative of enemy soldiers, but an order of the Russian command.
Oleg Zubkov, a Crimean businessman, director of the Taigan Lion Park and Kazka Zoo, confessed to stealing animals from the Kherson Zoo. He said that he is ready to return the animals, as “Kherson authorities” will restore the local zoo.
