The presentation of the iPhone 15 line will take place in the fall of 2023.
The latest leaks about what the iPhone lineup will look like in 2023 suggest that Apple is determined to radically change the design of its smartphones.
The idea of the future flagship iPhone 15 Ultra was demonstrated on high-quality renderings by the author of the AppleInsider resource. They show a new design with rounded edges, a USB-C port and an enlarged Dynamic Island.
It is expected that the classic square design in the iPhone 15 will be replaced by more rounded edges of the back, as it is done with the body of the new MacBook Pro. The current iPhone design with flat edges debuted with the release of the iPhone 12 line in 2020.
If rumors are to be believed, the frame of such iPhones will be made of titanium, but only in the Ultra-version, in order to emphasize even more the premium quality of the top iPhone in the line. The advantage of titanium is that this material will provide the smartphone with great strength and significantly improve its resistance to scratches and dents.
Also, in his renderings, the designer decided to confirm the rumors about the periscope telephoto lens, which has been “walking” on the network for several years. Such a lens will provide iPhones with the ability to optically zoom in on the image without losing quality.
By the way, a week earlier, one of the Reddit users showed his vision of the future Ultra-version of the iPhone 15 with a titanium case – it also generally coincides with the recent leaks of information about the future smartphones of the apple company.
iPhone 15: what else is known
The presentation of the iPhone 15 line will take place in September-October 2023. There will be four models in the line, and obviously the difference between the regular and premium versions will become even more significant.
So, iPhone 15 Pro models will get a faster A17 Bionic processor, an increased amount of RAM up to 8 GB, as well as a periscope telephoto lens that provides 10x optical zoom. In addition, they will completely lose physical buttons.
In addition, Apple has already officially confirmed that all future iPhones, starting with the iPhone 15, will switch from Lightning to USB-C. In the coming years, the company will also gradually transfer AirPods and Mac accessories to a single connector.
