Enemies in Donbas are trying to improve their tactical position, the General Staff said.

During the day, the Russian occupiers launched 2 rocket strikes, as well as launched more than 10 attacks from rocket salvo systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas along the contact line.

In particular, civil infrastructure objects in Nikopol and Kherson were hit again, this is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is also emphasized that the situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected. In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy shelled the settlements of Sopich, Svarkove and Zarutske of the Sumy region with mortars.

In the Slobozhansk direction, as reported by the General Staff, the enemy continues to maintain its troops in the border areas of the Belgorod region. In particular, Shevchenko, Strilch, Chervony, Ogurtsovo, Vovchansk, Bochkovo, Malaya Vovchaya, Dvorichna, and Bohdanivsky districts in the Kharkiv region were hit by artillery fire of various calibers.

The enemy is defending in the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions. The areas of the settlements of Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Berestov and Vyshneve in the Kharkiv region, Makiivka and Maidanchyk in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka in the Donetsk region came under fire from tanks and artillery.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on offensive actions and trying to improve the tactical position. Areas of the settlements of Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Doslydne, Kurdyumivka, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region were shelled by tanks and the entire range of artillery.

The enemy is defending in the Novopavlovsk direction. The districts of Nenudny, Zolota Niva and Prechistivka of the Donetsk region were shelled with mortars, barrel and jet artillery. The enemy is conducting defensive operations in the Zaporozhye and Kherson directions. Enemy artillery shelling was recorded in the areas of more than 25 settlements near the contact line, including Kherson and Nikopol.

The General Staff warned that the threat of missile strikes by the enemy on the objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure of our country remains.

At the end of November, the enemy attacked the energy facilities of our country – launched more than 70 missiles and many drones. Ukrainian soldiers eliminated five drones and 51 missiles.

Due to enemy strikes in a number of regions, people were left without electricity, heating and water. Later, the situation in our country was stabilized.

The head of the press center of the “South” operational command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Nataliya Gumenyuk, warned that a new massive missile strike is possible at any time and that air warning signals should not be ignored.
