This Christmas, on December 25, on the channels of the 1+1 media group, viewers will see a big Christmas project called “You are not alone”, which the 1+1 Big Brave Events team is working on together with the Atlas festival.

In the musical Christmas project, the performances of the stars will be combined with warm conversations with the heroes of the new time – volunteers, representatives of the cultural and volunteer fronts. In such a difficult time for the country, project participants united to create an atmosphere of family comfort and support every Ukrainian.

On the festive evening, a large number of surprises and bright musical collaborations await TV viewers. Yes, the coach of the main vocal project “Voice of the Country” DOROFEEVA will take the stage in a duet with the young singer Lilu45. Her song called “Eight” went viral on social networks and became a real hit in a short time. The stars will sing the main Ukrainian song known all over the world – “Shchedryk”, which turned 100 years old on the day of the shooting of the project “You are not alone”.

“It is very symbolic that the filming of the Christmas concert takes place on the day of the 100th anniversary of the song “Schedryk”. In the morning, the entire tape is filled with videos in which people from all over the world sing it, and it is very touching. I feel a great responsibility, because it is me and Lilu45 it was an honor to sing this legendary song. It’s not just a song, it’s an incredible pride. When you hear it and sing it, you feel incredible tenderness, strength and emotionality.”, – said the singer.

DOROFEEVA also shared the story of her acquaintance with Lilu45 and told what the “Voice of the Country” project is all about.

“I have been watching Lila45 since the moment she came to “Voice of the Country-12” to support one of the participants. I can confidently say that our collaboration was born thanks to “Voice of the Country”, because there coaches have the opportunity to hear new ones” . voices that are about to be heard across the country, this is the project that supports both young artists and experienced ones, then we chatted with Lilu and I told her that I love her incredible timbre. Recently, I invited Lila to open my solo concert, because it is very important for me to help young stars and discover something new for my audience,” says DOROFEEVA.

The singer also shared the story of how she discovered a real, authentic Ukrainian Christmas for the first time. At the age of nine, Nadia got to celebrate Christmas in Cherkasy region, this trip changed the singer’s opinion about this holiday forever.

“When I was nine years old, my stepfather and I went to celebrate Christmas in the village of Vesely Kut – this is the Cherkasy region. Then I learned what this holiday really means, with all its unique traditions. We were greeted so warmly that through the years I remember this day, around 12 o’clock we already sat down at the festive table, then we went to the neighbors, sang carols, and they treated us, and so on in a circle… We walked the whole village, gave gifts to each other, hugged, were joking. I dream of being in such an atmosphere of a real holiday again, even for a day.” – says Dorofeeva.

Singer Lilu45 also shared her Christmas traditions.

“When I was little, my mother worked as a seamstress, so every year for the winter holidays she prepared some tablecloths and decorations for the table. It was always her favorite holiday, so I have only the warmest memories of Christmas and New Year in my heart. We will definitely we cooked stewed cabbage, and my favorite Christmas dish was always dumplings. I wish that next year everything will be good for Ukrainians, that we will finally survive this terrible winter, win a victory, and the future will bring us only happy moments,” says the artist.

We will remind you that the project “You are not alone” will have a charitable component – everyone who cares will be able to create a Christmas mood and send a gift to the little wards of the “Children’s Town” charity project of SOS, which deals with families and orphaned children.
