The enemy shelled two communities in the region.
During the day, the Russian occupiers made 48 strikes on the border of the Sumy region. And on December 8, rioters dropped explosives on a residential building. People were saved by a miracle, because at that time they were not at home.
The head of the Sumy regional military administration, Dmytro Zhivytskyi, reported on Telegram about the details of the enemy attacks. Two communities were under attack.
“During the day, the enemy made 48 strikes on the border area. Namely: Shalyginsk community: the enemy fired at the border village with 120 mm mortars. There were 8 sorties. Yunatska community: 40 Russian mines of 120 mm caliber exploded on the outskirts of the border area,” he emphasized.
According to him, in both cases there were no victims or destruction.
“There is also a clarification on December 8: in the Bilopolsk community, the enemy dropped explosives on a house from a drone. A fire broke out and the house burned to the ground. The only thing that saved people was that they were not at home at that moment,” informed the head of the OVA.
