According to him, the strength threshold of the Russian Federation is lower than it was in the USSR.
Military expert, SBU reserve colonel Mykhailo Prytula predicts that the war between the Russian Federation and Ukraine should end in the spring of 2023.
On the Espresso broadcast, he explained that Russia does not have significant incomes and has suffered heavy military losses since the start of hostilities.
According to him, the strength threshold of the Russian Federation is lower than it was in the USSR. After the war against Afghanistan, the Soviet Union existed for 10 years. According to the expert’s assessment, Russia lost much more troops in Ukraine than the USSR did in Afghanistan.
“Putin’s resources are 10 times smaller, so I expect purely theoretically that this war should end and its turning point will be sometime in March of next year,” Mykhailo Prytula concluded.
The war in Ukraine: when and how it can end
Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that negotiations on the end of the war can take place after the complete military defeat of the Russian Federation and the withdrawal of the occupying forces from Ukraine.
US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink emphasized that the quick end of the war in Ukraine now depends on the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
“If the Russians want to stop the war, then Putin can do it right now. He can stop, withdraw his troops, and the war will end. For us, the support of your democratically elected president and the right of Ukrainians to protection are very important,” the diplomat said.
As reported, in 2023 the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine plans to finalize an international agreement on reparations and create a register of damages caused by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
