This was not a surprise: the Secretary of the National Security Council commented on the inspection of troops in Belarus

Ukraine knew in advance that today, December 13, the troops of Belarus would be tested for combat capability. The Armed Forces are ready for any options for the development of events in this direction. And if someone “intrudes” on the territory of our state, then “you will not envy him”.

Such statements were made by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov on the air of the national telethon. He made the following comment on the situation in Belarus: “Indeed, there were exercises there today. We knew that they would take place there. It was not a surprise for us. We are ready for any development of events, if the Russian Federation together with Belarus will carry out some or the other acts of aggression”.

Danilov emphasized that the development of all potential military scenarios began a long time ago. That is why the Armed Forces are fully prepared.

“If someone stumbles onto our territory, I will not envy him,” the NSDC secretary concluded.

  • Today, December 13, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus announced a check of the combat readiness of the troops by order of the dictator Oleksandr Lukashenko: “The measures will have a complex nature, the troops will have to advance to the designated areas as soon as possible, implement their engineering equipment, organize security and defense, as well as bridge crossings through the Neman and Berezina rivers”.
  • Observers from the “Belarusian Gayun” group emphasized an important detail. The mentioned rivers are quite far from the border of Ukraine and Belarus.
  • After the inspection statement, information appeared that the first units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus advanced towards our country. It was reported that the 38th separate amphibious assault brigade and its column of military equipment advanced to the city of Malorita and the agricultural town of Mokrany.
  • The Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhii Nayev, discussed the situation on the border with Belarus with his colleague from the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Tomasz Piotrowski.
