“40 frames/s on a computer for 5 thousand euros.”
CD Projekt RED got into a new scandal. The reason was the technical condition of the updated version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on personal computers.
“The Witcher 3” began to actively collect hundreds of negative reviews on Steam. Over the past two days, the game has received more than a thousand negative reviews, which is related to technical problems. The improved edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition regularly flies to parts of users. And this is only the first of the significant shortcomings.
The second is a constant drop in frame rate. It is observed even on expensive computers with flagship components. Below are some negative reviews from individual users.
Semper: “After the next-gen update, the game is rough, the processor is clogged, 40 fps on a €5000 PC, it’s just a shame.”
Gibsonsg666: “After the nextgen update, it’s like playing The Witcher 3, but through Microsoft Powerpoint.”
Lord Rizzo1: “I’ve got an RTX 4090 and the latest I9300 CPU runs like garbage.”
CD Projekt RED responded to user complaints and wrote on Twitter: “We are aware of the issues reported by PC players following the release of the update last night. We are actively investigating all reports and will provide updates on specific issues as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
