Syto was allegedly threatened with the murder of his son, who lives in France.
The leader of the “Wagner” PMC, “Putin’s cook” Yevgeny Prigozhin accused France of complicity in the attempt on “his husband” in the Central African Republic, Dmytro Sytoy. The French authorities reject the accusations.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Catherine Colona, in a comment to CNN, called these accusations another example of Russian propaganda.
“This information is false. … This is a good example of Russian propaganda and the bizarre imagination that sometimes characterizes this propaganda. I will not comment on the position of “Wagner” in general. … I would like to say a lot about them, but now is not the time,” — added she.
Attempt on Dmytro Syty
The day before, it became known that the Central African Republic’s “Prygozhin man”, the head of the Russian House cultural center, Dmytro Sity, whom the media associate with the gold mining of the “Wagnerians” in Africa, was injured. It happened after he received the package and it exploded in his hands.
The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Central African Republic announced on Saturday evening that Syty’s condition remains “stable and serious”. He allegedly lost a lot of blood and doctors continue to fight for his life.
Prigozhin previously claimed that Sitii received a package from Togo with a photo of his son, who lives in France. Allegedly, a note was attached to the parcel with a threat that he would receive his head if “the Russians do not flee from the African continent.”
Prigozhin claimed that he appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation to initiate the procedure to declare France a state sponsor of terrorism in connection with the incident in the Central African Republic.
