A full-scale war in Ukraine will turn into a “protracted conflict” in just a few months.
The advisor of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovych, predicts that the war in Ukraine will not end in the next 8 months.
As Arestovych noted on the “Feagin Live” broadcast, the conflict, which has been going on for more than a year, “in principle can be qualified as a protracted conflict.”
“[Затяжной конфликт] – It is one and a half to two years or more than a year. More than a year will be in two months. We understand that the war will not end in 2 months. And I also suspect that it will not end for another six months after these two months,” Arestovych said.
At the same time, he noted that “a protracted conflict is dangerous for everyone.”
“More precisely, he is not dangerous, but no one likes him. And he is dangerous in part. Even Sun Tzu (Chinese strategist – ) said that war likes speed and does not like procrastination,” the official noted.
