“They cooked and served Frankish borscht. They started cooking it in the morning, at 8 o’clock, in order to feed everyone with a delicious dinner. They boiled about two thousand liters in a cauldron and distributed it to everyone who wanted until the last portion,” said the mayor of the city, Ruslan Martsinkiv, on Facebook.
He notes that the people who came liked the borscht.
“I also tasted borscht myself. It turned out very tasty,” he wrote and posted a photo of the event.
