The invaders continue to suffer heavy losses in battles with the Armed Forces.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian troops have eliminated more than 99,200 Russian invaders.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total combat losses of the enemy since February 24 amount to about 99,230 Russian soldiers, of which 430 were eliminated last day.

The enemy also lost: tanks – 2,995 (7 per day), armored combat vehicles – 5,974 (5 per day), artillery systems – 1,960 (7 per day), rocket salvo systems – 410 , air defense equipment – 212, aircraft – 281, helicopters – 266 (2 per day), UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 1,680 (23 per day), cruise missiles – 653, ships/boats – 16, automotive equipment and cars – 4 thousand 599 (7 ​​per day), special equipment – ​​177 (2 per day).

War in Ukraine

Russian troops will continue to focus their efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions. During December 19, the Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of 10 settlements.

Under Bakhmut, according to the military themselves, the Russians collect everything that is capable of combat. However, the enemy has neither strategic nor tactical successes on this part of the front.

At the same time, Russia is transferring a new batch of equipment to Belarus. Neither the military nor analysts rule out that the Russian Armed Forces will try to go on another “campaign” to Kyiv.

The Armed Forces continue to destroy the bases and warehouses of the Russian invaders. The day before, the General Staff confirmed the defeat of the enemy’s concentration of forces and equipment in the Chaplynka area of ​​the Kherson region.

During December 20, the Ukrainian aviation carried out 16 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 6 strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems of the Russian Federation.
