In total, the two terrorist organizations included 17 militants. These are representatives of local crime and former law enforcement officers.
In Ukraine, five “DPR” fighters who simulated shooting and burying prisoners alive will be tried. This is reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The investigation established that since 2014, two terrorist organizations have been operating in the occupied territory of Donetsk region – the illegal “Ministry of State Security of the DPR” and “Kalininsk Correctional Colony No. 27”, which included 17 militants.
It is noted that among the participants are representatives of local crime and former law enforcement officers.
“They kidnapped and tortured Ukrainians who did not recognize the so-called “DPR”. In order to force them to confess to alleged espionage and other fabricated crimes, they threatened with torture and killing their children and wives. If the threats did not help, they simulated shooting and even burying them alive.” – reports the Prosecutor General’s Office.
By now, all participants have been notified of the suspicion. They were charged with treason, creation of a terrorist organization and violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 111, Article 258-3 and Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It is also said that after conducting all investigative actions, the materials regarding the remaining twelve persons will also be sent to the court.
Collaborators and traitors in Ukraine
As previously reported, the SBU detained a female collaborator in Odesa who was collecting money for the needs of the Russian army. It also turned out that her relatives are fighting against the Ukrainian army as part of the so-called DPR.
And in the Kharkiv region, a man was exposed who called on his fellow villagers to support the aggression of the Russians. He publicly supported the Russian occupation of Ukraine and approved of Putin’s actions.
Yesterday it also became known that the SBU exposed a supporter of “Novorossiya” who was raising the Russian flag over the Kharkiv City Hall.
