SUVs and pickups are primarily used during combat operations.
17 off-road vehicles and 13 buses were purchased, prepared and handed over to the military during the last few months. The total cost of the purchase is over 6.6 million hryvnias.
Four-wheel drive SUVs and a necklace were distributed at the request of several mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and units of the Special Operations Forces, according to the website of the Techia Foundation, a public organization of the TECHIIA holding.
“All-wheel drive vehicles are extremely necessary for the performance of combat missions, especially in the conditions of our work. Here is this “apparatus” that we received from the Techia Foundation, which helped to destroy several units of enemy equipment of the occupiers. We will continue in the same spirit. Victory will be ours. !” – Commented by a soldier of the SZG unit, who is carrying out tasks in a Nissan Navara pickup truck from the Techia Foundation.
SUVs and pickups are primarily used in combat operations, and necklaces are needed for logistics and rear tasks.
“In the combat zone and in the rear, all types of transport are useful: passenger cars, pickups, necklaces, new and used. There is a constant need for them, because a car in wartime is a consumable that may turn out to be unsuitable for use in any moment. That’s why my team and I try to close the requests for cars that come to us as soon as possible. This is a constant process,” the Techia Foundation explains.
We will remind you that recently the Techia Foundation handed over 7 reconnaissance drones, 800 life jackets and a large generator for the SZH headquarters to the units of the Armed Forces. In total, the amount of aid to the Defense Forces of Ukraine from the organization exceeded $21.5 million. In addition, the managing partner of the TECHIIA holding Oleg Krot purchased almost $40 million worth of necessary items for the defenders of Ukraine. For reasons of security and military secrecy, the details of these purchases are not disclosed.
