According to Andryushchenko, in two days, “not even a physical memory will remain” from the building.
“Rage. Just rage,” the mayor’s adviser added.
Drama Theater in Mariupol: details
On March 16, a Russian plane dropped a bomb on the theater building in Mariupol, where hundreds of civilians were hiding. The entrance to the bomb shelters was filled with debris. It is believed that about 300 people died under the rubble.

In the process of clearing, the occupiers packed the found bodies of the dead in plastic bags, moved them with tractors and trucks to a storage facility in the industrial zone in the area of Mikilskyi Shosse. Then, according to the filling, it was taken to the village. Mangush, where the embankment was dumped into a 300-meter trench.
On May 20, the demolition of the rubble and the removal of the bodies of the dead was completed.
On August 31, the Department of Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian invaders are covering the bodies of those killed in the theater with concrete, and trying to eliminate the corpse smell with chlorine.
According to local residents, the builders were ordered not to make noise and not to pull out the corpses, but to “concrete quietly”.
