STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl did not make the rating.
Next year promises to be rich in big games. In February alone, Hogwarts Legacy, Dead Island 2, Company of Heroes 3 and several other notable projects will be released. Due to the variety of releases, it is difficult to understand which novelties of 2023 users are waiting for the most. A small study was conducted to understand this issue. The results were very unexpected.
Top10 Casinos website staff armed themselves with a list of upcoming games collected by the PC Gamer portal and analyzed search traffic using the Ahrefs service. They established the volume of requests on the Web for each project and in this way determined which novelties can be considered the most anticipated.
Action-RPG in the universe of “Harry Potter” Hogwarts Legacy was in the first place. This is the first game based on the famous franchise in a long time, and also with an open world and a variable plot. The second place also went to the action-RPG – Starfield from Bethesda Game Studios. And closes the first three of Diablo 4, which should return the great series to its gloomy roots.
A few remarks should be made here. Search traffic depends in part on the advertising activity around the game, and the closer the release, the more. This could have affected the results. In addition, it is not entirely clear whether all search options were considered.
For example, hardly many people use the official name STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl when they want to know news about the game. Probably, the more standard requests “Stalker 2” and “Stalker 2” are used. Perhaps they are not included in the study, and for this reason the Ukrainian shooter did not make it into the rating, like some other projects.
