The Action and Solidarity party later noted that Nantoi expressed his personal opinion, which does not coincide with the agenda of the political force.
Oazu Nantoi, a deputy from the ruling party of Moldova “Action and Solidarity”, believes that the Transnistrian conflict cannot be resolved through diplomatic negotiations. He suggests that NATO and Ukraine resolve the conflict by force.
“I do not think that the Transnistrian conflict should be resolved on the basis of a dialogue with Tiraspol. Kishinev together with its partners should develop an action plan, put it on the table, and those who accept these conditions will be forgiven, the rest will have to leave. There is no need to play with negotiations here “, Nantoy stated on TVR Moldova.
The deputy added that the resolution of the conflict will be peaceful “only because now Transnistria is in a very difficult situation.” Nantoi also spoke about the demilitarization of the region.
“And, of course, coordinated actions with Ukraine and NATO are necessary here. Because we will not be sincere if we talk about the reintegration of the country without a specific plan for the complete demilitarization of this territory,” the deputy said.
The Action and Solidarity party later noted that Nantoi expressed his personal opinion, which does not coincide with the agenda of the political force. “Action and Solidarity” officially supports the path of negotiations.
Russia occupied Transnistria and threatens the territorial integrity of Moldova
