The storming of Bakhmut is relevant
The Russians continue to focus their efforts on capturing Donetsk region. Fierce fighting has been going on for several months in the Avdiiv and Bakhmut directions.
A few days ago, the Russians tried to break through the positions of the Armed Forces and approach the outskirts of Bakhmut, but were repulsed by Ukrainian defenders.
Western analysts believe that the advance of Russian forces in this part of the front slowed down due to a lack of ammunition and heavy losses among the “Wagnerians”.
Experts expect that in the near future the Russians will demand an “operational pause” in the battles for Bakhmut.
