Chicken liver pate with cream – recipe

Chicken liver pate prepared according to this recipe with carrots and onions and with the addition of delicate cream turns out to be very tasty and healthy.

To prepare pate, you will need:

  • chicken liver – 600 g;
  • onion – 1 pc.;
  • carrot – 1 pc.;
  • flour – 2-3 tbsp. L.;
  • 15% fat cream – 1/2 cup;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt, pepper, coriander – to taste.

Method of cooking

Chop the carrots and onions and, stirring, fry until ready. Add salt, pepper, and coriander – if desired.

At the same time, wash the liver well and cut it into not very small pieces. After that, roll each of them in flour and fry in a deep pan for several minutes.

Then pour the liver with cream, salt, pepper, mix, cover the pan with a lid and put out for about 15 minutes on low heat.

After that, we wait until the liver cools down enough and pass it through a meat grinder together with onions and carrots. The pate is ready.

How long can you store chicken liver pate – recommendations

Chicken liver pate prepared at home is advised to be stored for no more than three days and only in the refrigerator. To extend the shelf life, it is advisable to keep the paste in a tightly closed glass container and make sure that no excess liquid is formed.

The shelf life of pate from the store is indicated on the package. Usually, after opening the container, it can be stored for up to five days in the refrigerator, and at room temperature – only a few hours.
