According to the expert, Russia has resorted to missile terror tactics.
Military expert Dmytro Snegiriov believes that “cotton” on the territory of Russia, in particular at military facilities or airfields in the rear regions of the aggressor country, has no effect on the increase in the number of enemy missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
In an interview with TSN, he emphasized that Russia had long adopted the tactics of missile terror. The aggressor will continue to follow it.
“You and I have been observing this since October. Regardless of whether or not military infrastructure was struck in the deep regions of the Russian Federation, Russia resorted to missile terror tactics,” he explained.
According to the expert, according to the military doctrine of the Russian Federation, the assignment of strikes on objects of critical infrastructure, residential infrastructure of the opposing side is a compulsion to surrender. Because of this, the enemy will continue to use this tactic.
At the same time, Snegiriev emphasized that the task of striking military infrastructure objects, in particular the Russian airfields “Diaghilev” and “Engels-2”, as well as airfields in Kursk and Bryansk, is an opportunity to reduce the level of the missile threat from the Russian Federation.
It is not by chance that President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that we will respond to terror. That is, no one will hold Ukrainian cities under the missile sights with impunity. missiles and planes, and the political one – the humiliation of the Russian Federation,” the expert continued.
With these “cotton”, the Russians were clearly shown that the air defense system, which would be able to protect their territory from strikes, simply does not exist. And this, according to Snegiriev, is the main demotivating factor within the Russian Federation itself.
“Because the Engels airfield is part of the so-called nuclear triad. Russian planes capable of carrying nuclear warheads are based there. This is a signal to the Russians that if Russian air defense cannot cover such strategic objects, then talk about the possibility of covering the objects” objects of the critical power system make no sense. Such a concept as a blackout can be the next,” he summarized.
“Bavivna” in Russia
On the night of December 26, 2022, explosions rang out at the Engels airfield in the Saratov region of Russia. Military expert Petro Chernyk believes that this “cotton” testifies to Russia’s inability to respond to serious challenges in the field of security.
At the same time, journalist Volodymyr Zolkin, citing sources, reported that 5 Tu-95 bombers were damaged by explosions on the territory of the Engels strategic airfield. According to his data, as a result of the “arrivals” 17 invaders were eliminated, another 26 were wounded (three invaders are in serious condition).
In addition, on the night of December 25, a “bang” occurred near the airfield in Kursk, Russia. Eyewitnesses report several explosions.
