The head of the GUR emphasized that the transfer of strategic aviation of the Russian Federation to distant airfields after explosions at air bases is of great importance.
In the Russian strategic aviation, there are more and more problems with the wear and tear of bombers, especially their engines, the production of many parts has long been stopped, the head of the GUR, Kyrylo Budanov, said on the air of the telethon.
Due to the economy of engine resources, the Russian Air Force launches launches closer to airfields, which leads to the fall of faulty missiles in and near populated areas.
“These are old planes that are constantly being renewed, modernized, updated avionics, defeat devices, reset systems. But, in fact, these are the same planes with the same engines. The last two missile attacks they fired volleys near airfields, hence the reports of crashes of missiles in the Russian Federation is because they do not approach the usual launch areas in order to reduce aircraft wear and tear,” Budanov said.
The head of the GUR emphasized that the transfer of strategic aviation of the Russian Federation to distant airfields after explosions at air bases is of great importance, since the planes travel thousands of kilometers and wear out even more – they must be put in for maintenance.
Tu-95 missiles fall in Russian cities.
It is known about at least several cases when the missiles of the Russian strategic aviation bombing Ukraine fell on the territory of Russia itself – near the airfields.
On December 16, during a massive attack on Ukraine, several rockets “trimmed the forest” in the Saratov region. No casualties were reported.
Already on December 30, the incident happened again – fragments of the X-101/X-102 family rocket were found in the Volgograd region.
In general, the Russians have big problems with the effectiveness of the missiles used in the shelling of Ukraine. For example, in June, during the attack on Kharkiv, some S-300 shells did not explode and simply exploded in the air.
Moreover, another interesting incident with the Russians happened in the summer in occupied Alchevsk – a missile fired by the Armed Forces suddenly “changed its mind” and returned to its owners.
