On December 31, Ukraine held a large exchange of prisoners
The last exchange of prisoners in 2022 took place on December 31. 140 Ukrainians returned home. Among them are the wounded, as well as the defenders of Mariupol, the Zmiiny Islands, TRo volunteers, and defenders from the Bakhmut region.
In addition, among those who returned from Russian captivity on December 31, there is a representative of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people, paramedic from “Azovstal” Asan Isenajiev. From the first day of the full-scale invasion, the man saved the lives of soldiers and civilians.
It was also possible to return a pit bull from “Azovstal” nicknamed “Adik”, who was evacuated together with the defenders of Mariupol, but then was taken to Russia and “gifted” to Kadyrov as a trophy.
