“Arrivals” were in two communities – Chervonogrigorivska and Myrivska.
Russian occupiers shelled the Nikopol district in the Dnipropetrovsk region at night.
As the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, reported, enemy troops twice directed their heavy artillery at Nikopol region.
“They hit two communities – Chervonogrigorivska and Myrivska. One and a half dozen shells flew there,” he said.
According to Reznichenko, people were not injured.
“In other areas, the siren warned of danger several times. But there were no emergency situations. And for the moment it’s calm,” the head of the OVA emphasized.
Russian strikes on Ukraine at Christmas
On January 5, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin ordered his military to implement a “ceasefire regime along the entire line of combat” from 12:00 a.m. on January 6 to 12:00 a.m. on January 7.
Ukraine was offered the same, and the President’s Office called this “ceasefire” hypocrisy and a propaganda gesture. American analysts explained that the Russian Federation needs a “truce” for Christmas in order to denigrate Ukrainian soldiers.
On Christmas, the Russian occupiers did not stop hitting the cities of Ukraine, in particular, the civil infrastructure. As reported by the General Staff, the battles took place near Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, and Belogorivka in the Luhansk region, and Rozdolivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Zalizny, Pershotravnevo, Vodyany, and Peremoha in Donetsk. Just last day, the occupiers launched 9 rocket, 3 air and 40 strikes from rocket salvo systems.
Also, on January 7, the Russian occupiers launched 7 rocket attacks on Kramatorsk and 2 on Kostyantynivka in Donetsk region.
