Last day, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks on about 13 settlements in Donbas. The enemy is conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Lyman areas and is trying to improve the tactical situation in the Kupyan areas, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported, informing about the operational situation regarding the Russian invasion.

Thus, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Stelmakhivka and Chervopopivka settlements of the Luhansk region and Soledar, Chervona Gora, Pidgorodne, and Bakhmut. In addition, the Rashists were unable to attack Klishcheivka, Vodiane, Pershotravneve, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Peremoga, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

“The enemy is conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdiiv, and Lyman areas and is trying to improve the tactical position in the Kupyan areas. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected in the Volyn, Polis, Siver, and Slobozhan areas.” – It is indicated in the message.

In the Novopavlovsk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson directions, the enemy is defending on previously occupied lines, carrying out engineering equipment of the positions. According to the General Staff, the Russian occupiers launched 7 missile and 31 air strikes and fired 73 rocket salvo systems in the past day.

“There is a threat of the enemy launching air and missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities throughout the territory of Ukraine,” the message states.
