The deputy chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, Denys Marchuk, predicts that the prices of products in Ukraine may increase by another 5-6% during the winter. As stated in the story “1+1”, he assured that there will be no shortage of products.

Yes, there will be an increase in prices for dairy products, according to Marchuk, because during the full-scale war, the number of cattle in Ukraine significantly decreased.

If we talk about the seasonal factor, it is quite expected that vegetables become more expensive in winter. In addition, price tags for meat products will also add weight. Egg prices will also go up. According to the expert’s forecast, the price increase of the above-mentioned products will continue until the new season.

According to the State Statistics Service, the price of food products increased the most in 2022 – by 36.1%, in particular, the prices of eggs increased by 81.4%, fruits – by 62.6%, and vegetables – by 78.8%.

Oleg Pyendzin, executive director of the Economic Discussion Club, predicts that bread prices will rise in 2023. According to the economist’s forecasts, due to blackouts, general inflation may increase by approximately 2.5-3%. He says prices could soar by 5% in 2023.
