According to the “Pandora’s Box” Telegram channel, the man tried to cover his wife from debris during a Russian missile attack on a residential building in Dnipro. It is noted that the couple was found embracing
“The man died together with his wife. The police informed us that at the moment they are looking for the relatives of the young couple in the territory of Ukraine,” the message reads.
Missile attack on the Dnipro – what is known
On January 14, the Russians hit a nine-story building in Dnipro, where more than 1,100 people lived, with a rocket. As a result of the attack, the entrance was completely destroyed.
The occupiers hit the residential building with an X-22 missile, which was designed back in the USSR to hit naval groups and aircraft carrier groups.
On January 16, the State Emergency Service reported that as of 1:00 p.m., 39 people were rescued, including six children, 40 people died, including three children, 75 people were injured, including 14 children, and 46 reports of missing persons were received.
Sorting through the rubble continues now, rescuers are trying to find everyone who is considered missing.
