The number of people injured as a result of a rocket attack by Russian occupiers on a residential building in Dnipro has increased.
This is stated in a message on the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. “As of 21:00 on January 16, 39 people were rescued (including 6 children), 40 people were killed (including 3 children), 77 people were injured (including 14 children), 47 reports of missing people were received (of which 18 people were identified dead, 4 people were found alive by relatives, in hospitals, 25 people are currently being searched for)”, the State Emergency Service reported.
Psychologists of the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 174 victims. Search and rescue operations and dismantling of dangerous structural elements continue.
Communal services removed more than 8,500 tons of construction debris and 41 damaged cars.
A blow to the house in Dnipro
As reported, on January 14, Russian terrorists hit a high-rise building in Dnipro, where more than 1,100 people lived, with a rocket. The explosion completely destroyed one of the sections of the building.
The Russians hit a residential building with an Kh-22 missile. It was designed back in the Soviet Union to destroy naval groups and aircraft carrier groups. Only the 52nd Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment of the Russian Federation can launch such a missile.
Earlier today, January 16, the State Emergency Service reported that as of 1:00 p.m., 39 people had been rescued (including 6 children), 40 people had died, including three children, 75 people had been injured (including 14 children), and 46 reports had been received about missing persons.
