Also, according to Zelenskyi, the heads of some regional military administrations took part in the stake meeting today, who reported on the implementation of the law on national resistance.
In particular, we are talking about the heads of the Volyn, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and Odesa OUVs.
“I think it is clear why the geography is like that. Every element of our defense, including ground defense, must be adjusted accordingly,” the head of state emphasized.
He added that traditionally at Stavka they listened to the reports of the commander-in-chief, as well as the commander of the most “hot” operational direction on the front – “Khortytsia”.
“We are taking appropriate steps to strengthen our units in the battle for Donbas,” Zelenskyy said.
The President also emphasized the successes of border guards of the Luhansk and Kramatorsk detachments, who, together with other fighters of the Defense and Security Forces, are fighting in the Donetsk direction, protecting Bakhmut.
“Thank you, guys, for your steadfastness and ability to inflict precisely such losses on the enemy, which gradually renders the occupiers’ attack pointless! Thank you also to the soldiers of the special unit Dozor of the State Border Service of Ukraine for effectively deterring the enemy,” the president said.
