Banana cake – recipe
You don’t need to turn on the oven to make a chocolate cake. You only need to boil the cream and make the glaze, it’s very simple.
For the cream you will need:
- 500 ml of milk
- 100 g of sugar,
- 2 eggs,
- 60 g of wheat flour,
- 100 g of butter.
Pour the milk into a clean saucepan and add the sugar, then heat the milk to dissolve the sugar. You don’t need to boil the milk, it will take you about 5 minutes, you shouldn’t heat it longer. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add flour to them, the mixture should be beaten well with a mixer so that all lumps of flour fall apart. Then add milk and sugar to the egg mixture, do it slowly, gradually. Stir constantly.
Next, pour the beaten eggs with milk into a pan and cook for about 7 minutes until the cream thickens, do not forget to stir constantly. After that, cool the cream, at this time beat the melted butter with a mixer. Add|add| butter into the cream and mix everything with a mixer, but at low speeds. The cream for chocolate banana cake is ready.
Let’s start assembling the banana cake. For this you need:
- 500 g of brown cookies with cocoa;
- 3 bananas.
Cut the bananas into thin rings, and put the cookies in a mold. A spread, a wide rectangular baking container or a special form for cakes is suitable. Spread the cookies in one layer, covering the entire bottom of the container. Grease it with cream and place some bananas on it. Then cover the bananas with another layer of cookies, which is also covered with cream and banana rings. Repeat this several times, make two or three layers. The last layer should be cream, it should be poured with glaze.
To prepare the glaze, you will need:
- 30 ml of milk;
- 4 tablespoons of sugar;
- 50 g of butter;
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
Mix cocoa, sugar and milk in a saucepan. Cook the glaze over low heat, stirring constantly. When the mixture thickens, remove the saucepan from the heat and add butter to the glaze. Icing for chocolate banana cake is ready.
