According to the investigation, after the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Boguslaev financed the “DNR”, in particular, by paying “taxes” and “fees” to the budget of this terrorist group.
The Security Service of Ukraine reported a new suspicion to the former president of “Motor Sich” Vyacheslav Boguslaev due to cooperation with Russian terrorists, the SBU reports on Facebook.
“Counterintelligence and investigators of the Security Service have uncovered new facts of criminal activity of the president of Motor Sich JSC, who is suspected of working for the aggressor,” the message reads.
Thus, in the course of investigative and operational actions, it was established that after the start of the full-scale invasion, the government official financed the terrorist organization “DPR”. In particular, due to the payment of “taxes” and “fees” to the budget of this quasi-organization.
“Among other things, he cooperated with a Ukrainian enterprise, which has been under the control of the so-called “DPR” since 2014. Its purpose was to supply aircraft components to the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation,” the report said.
It was also established that due to the “budget” agreement, the “DPR” received more than 290 million Russian rubles in the form of “taxes” from the sale of aircraft products for the needs of the Russian occupiers.
“The leaders of the occupying administration of Donetsk directed the received money to the needs of military groups of the Russian Federation, which participate in hostilities against the Defense Forces on the eastern front,” the SBU said.
Based on this evidence, the investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the SBU informed the former head of the industrial giant about a new suspicion under Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Facilitating the activities of a terrorist organization).
In addition, during the searches, the law enforcement officers found more than two dozen medals, certificates and honorary awards to the president of JSC “Motor Sich” from representatives of the military and political leadership of the Russian Federation.
The pre-trial investigation continues to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.
