The Lviv Court of Appeal banned Vladyslav Atroshenko from holding the post of mayor of Chernihiv for a year. The decision is final and not subject to appeal, Suspilne reports.
The court made this decision on February 1 during the review of the appeal against the decision of the Yavoriv District Court, which on December 7, 2022 banned Atroshenko from holding his position for one year. The Court of Appeal upheld the current fine of UAH 6.8 thousand, but canceled the additional fine of UAH 3.4 thousand.
The defense does not agree with the court’s decision. The witness, the driver Oleksandr Korobko, insisted that the initiative to cross the border and exchange the Tesla car for a Toyota Camry official car, which is officially assigned to the driver, belongs to him.
We will remind you that on July 2, 2022, Vladyslav Atroshenko tried to cross the state border at the Krakovec checkpoint. After the DPSU was banned from leaving during wartime, the mayor of Chernihiv sent his driver abroad to return the official car that his wife had used for her own needs for three months.
