It is difficult to count the destroyed enemy infantry here, say the military.
More than one and a half dozen Russian tanks were destroyed by the Ukrainian military in the Donetsk direction. And also – infantry fighting vehicles, artillery systems and at least two battalions of enemy infantry.
According to the story of TSN, the soldiers of the 59th motorized infantry after the battles in the Kherson region stood up to protect the Donetsk direction. The military say: the intensity of enemy artillery in the area has somewhat decreased. Instead, assaults by armored groups take place almost every day.
Machine-gun queues on the front in front of temporarily occupied Donetsk are an everyday phenomenon, say Ukrainian defenders. The intensity of enemy artillery shelling here is also impressive.
“These are one of the advanced Ukrainian positions on the Donetsk route, which have not changed exactly since 2015. These positions are a real rarity,” says correspondent Oleksandr Motorny.
Fighters claim that they are experiencing several enemy assaults during the night. And in the morning – attacks by Russian armored groups. Here is what the Ukrainian defender says about the losses of the occupiers as a result of such actions:
“The death is glorious, sometimes even very impressive. It turns out a lot of burned tanks, BMPs, artillery systems… I am silent about the infantry, we will not even count them.”
At the very least, several battalions of enemy infantry, the Ukrainian soldiers claim, have already been disposed of in this direction. “We knock them out so they don’t move here,” says the defender.
The situation at the front
As reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine over the past day has carried out four strikes on the areas of concentration of the Russian occupiers.
Also, last day, the defense forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the Russian invaders in the areas of 10 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
On February 3, the head of the Luhansk Armed Forces stated that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin ordered his army to enter the administrative borders of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions by March.
