The Russians used a military corner reflector.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, showed with what outdated means the Russian occupiers near the Kherson bridge defended themselves against modern HIMARS volley fire systems.
“This is a military corner reflector. The entire area near the Kherson Bridge was covered with dozens of such Russian reflectors. The enemy tried to use this anachronism to defend against… HIMARS,” he noted on Twitter.
At the same time, the minister emphasized that this once again confirms that there is a war “of a free future against a totalitarian past.”
Provision of the Russian army: what the occupiers are fighting with
Military expert Oleg Zhdanov explained how the vaunted Russian anti-missile system “Zoopark” works. He noted that it is not as scary as it is described, and in fact it is not much different from its predecessors. These radars have an active antenna, so they are very easily detected and affected by means of counter-battery warfare.
At the same time, the terrorist Ihor Girkin (Strelkov) confirmed that Russian weapons are less accurate compared to Western weapons transferred to Ukraine. According to him, that is why the Armed Forces are able to hit bridges, but the occupiers are not.
