Russia removed the heavy nuclear submarine “Dmytro Donsky”, which is the largest in the world in terms of water tonnage, from the Navy.
Now it is awaiting disposal. Volodymyr Maltsev, head of the all-Russian fleet support movement, reported this, writes the TARS propaganda publication.
As noted, its destruction will take place at the naval base in Severodvinsk with two other submarines of the same project with the index 941.
The submarine “Dmytro Donsky” was included in the combat composition of the fleet in 1980 as part of project 941. Its displacement is 48 thousand tons. For some time, this submarine was the largest in size (172 m long and 23 m wide).

Military and political commentator Oleksandr Kovalenko previously stated that the Russian fleet is practically incapacitated. Caliber cruise missiles made it unarmed. Under the use of KR “Kalibr”, of which there are almost none left in Russia, the following were sharpened:
