The General Staff also emphasized that the occupiers are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyan, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Novopavliv directions.

“During the hostilities in the area of ​​the city of Bakhmut, there was a complete lack of coordination and interaction among the servicemen of the Russian occupation forces and the mercenaries of the so-called PMK “Wagner”, – the message says.

The General Staff also emphasized that the Ukrainian Air Force of the Defense Forces of the past day made 9 strikes on enemy concentration areas and hit the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems. And units of missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the control post, 8 areas of concentration of the enemy’s manpower and the ammunition depot.

As noted, during the day, the enemy launched 4 missile strikes on civilian infrastructure on the territory of Ukraine.

“The adversary launched 4 missile strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv and Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region and carried out 56 attacks from rocket salvo systems, in particular, on civilian objects in Kherson. There are dead and wounded. The threat of further Russian air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine,” the message says.

Meanwhile, no offensive enemy groups were detected in the Volyn, Poliske, Siversk and Slobozhansk directions. Areas of 14 settlements in Chernihiv Oblast, Sumy Oblast and Kharkiv Oblast were shelled. In the Kupyan direction, the enemy fired at the areas of 5 settlements in the Kharkiv region, as well as 2 settlements in the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, 8 settlements of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions came under enemy fire. In the Bakhmut direction, more than 25 districts of settlements were affected by the fire. Areas of 12 settlements came under artillery shelling in the Avdiyiv direction.

Vugledar and 6 other districts of populated areas of Donetsk region were hit by tank, mortar and artillery shelling in Novopavlivsk direction. In the Zaporozhye region, more than 30 settlements were affected by the fire. In the Kherson direction, in particular, Kherson and almost 20 settlements were shelled.
