The Ministry of Internal Affairs said when the reasons for the crash of the helicopter in Brovary, Kyiv region, which killed, in particular, the top leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will be known.
According to the correspondent, the Acting President told about this during the telethon. at. Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko. He emphasized that the investigation is now waiting for the results of the technical examination.
“We are interested in receiving the results and conclusions of the investigation as soon as possible,” added Klymenko.
According to him, a joint group of investigators is working now, and in the near future they will be able to inform the public about the results.
“It will be possible to talk about what happened on board or near it when the on-board recorders are deciphered. The results of the investigation will be known in a month or two,” Klymenko explained.
Tragedy in Brovary
On January 18, 2023, a helicopter of the State Emergency Service crashed in Brovary, Kyiv region. On board, in particular, was the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyi, as well as his first deputy Yevhen Yenin and State Secretary Yuriy Lubkovich. No one survived.
After the end of the search, the State Emergency Service announced that 14 people had died, including 1 child.
On Saturday, January 21, 2023, in Kyiv, they said goodbye to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrskyi, and other employees of the ministry who died in the plane crash in Brovary. On the same day, in Nizhyn, they said goodbye to the employees of the special aviation detachment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who died in the disaster.
