Ukrainian actor Taras Tsymbalyuk recently received a summons, but did not go to serve. In a recent interview, the celebrity said that he went to the Military Commissariat for a medical examination, but was not allowed to go to the front because he did not have combat experience or a military department.

In an interview with Hryhoriy Reshetnyk, Tsymbalyuk answered the haters who accuse him of “evading duty”:

“When some sofa critic writes to you: “Go to the front, go to the trenches”, and who will volunteer, help these people? Who writes? Those who sit at home. They have a lot of time.”

Taras Tsymbalyuk added that he and his no less famous colleagues often collect funds to help the military, and he has no intention of stopping. For example, recently I managed to buy an ambulance with this money.

“When we did our charity auction with the actors, we started collecting money for emergency care. We collected 50,000 euros, for example, I realized that this is the power of the fact that I can use my media presence as help.
