In the occupied part of the Kherson region, the enemies are sending people to the “basement”, said the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.
On the territory of the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, Ukrainians are being tortured, and Russian soldiers are being moved into their homes.
This was announced by the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov in Telegram. He noted that in recent days, information about mass torture, looting and persecution of Ukrainian citizens has been received from the regions of the Kherson region occupied by Russian barbarians.
“The most common type of atrocities committed by Russian barbarians is the arrest and imprisonment of citizens in the “basement”, where they are required to declare their alleged desire to obtain Russian citizenship and obtain a Russian passport. Those who refuse are subjected to physical torture and forced to write on personal property of the Russian occupiers – a house, a car, etc., after which the disobedient ones are driven out of the occupied zone,” Chubarov notes.
He reported that the other day in the village of Novooleksiivka, Heniche district, the Russian occupiers conducted repeated raids with the aim of settling Russian servicemen in the houses of the owners, who were forced to evacuate earlier. “At the same time, such “settlement” primarily affects the houses of citizens known for their loyalty to the Ukrainian state,” Chubarov noted.
He said that the Russian occupiers in Novooleksiivka broke the door and moved into the house of the family of Edem and Gulnara Bekirov. At the same time, Chubarov reminded that Edem is a former prisoner of the Kremlin, and Gulnara is a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. Chubarov noted that the Bekir family had previously been evacuated from occupied Novooleksiivka.
The situation in the Kherson region is worth knowing now
As reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers promise a monetary reward to the residents of Zalizny Port for obtaining Russian citizenship.
It was emphasized that in the village of Zaliznyi Port of the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, the Russian invaders are trying to carry out passporting of the local population. For this purpose, the passport office was moved from the village of Hola Prystan to the village. Taking into account the fact that there is no queue of people willing to receive Russian citizenship, the occupiers promise a monetary reward to those who agree.
