During the day, the enemy launched 12 missile strikes and 32 air strikes, as well as carried out more than 90 shelling from multiple rocket-propelled grenades.

Last day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks by Russian invaders in the Bakhmut area and a number of other settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

This is stated in a message on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding operational information as of 06:00. It is emphasized that the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on offensive actions in the Kupyan, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Novopavliv directions. It actively uses operational-tactical and army aviation to launch strikes against the positions of Ukrainian troops.

“Over the past 24 hours, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of Bilogorivka and Serebryansk Forestry of Luhansk Oblast and Torsky, Fedorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivskyi, Chasovoy Yar, Pershotravnevy, Peremoha, Maryinka, and Vugledar of Donetsk Oblast,” the message reads.

The General Staff noted that during the day, the enemy carried out 12 missile strikes, three of them on the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv, and 32 air strikes, six of which were carried out by Shahed-136 drones. The threat of further Russian air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

“Four of these drones were shot down. The enemy also launched more than 90 attacks from rocket salvo systems,” the message emphasizes.

In the Volyn, Polis, Siver, and Slobozhan directions, there were no significant changes, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups were detected. Areas of more than 20 settlements were subjected to enemy shelling there. The occupiers also carried out airstrikes near Gatysh and Vovchansk.

On the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 25 areas of populated areas. In addition, the occupiers carried out airstrikes near three settlements in Luhansk region and two in Donetsk region.

Areas of 14 settlements of Donetsk region, including Bakhmut, and more than 25 settlements in total, were hit by tank, mortar and artillery fire in the direction of Bakhmut.

Areas of 25 settlements, including Avdiivka and Vugledar, were hit by tank, mortar and artillery fire in the Avdiiv and Novopavliv directions. Enemy airstrikes were recorded near Avdiivka, Vesely, Nevelsky and Maryinka.

In the direction of Zaporizhzhia, two settlements in Donetsk region and six in Zaporizhzhia were destroyed by fire. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Kamianskoye.

In the Kherson direction, the suburbs and Kherson, as well as the districts of more than 30 other settlements, were affected by enemy artillery fire. The enemy also carried out an airstrike in the wintering area.

Security expert Ivan Varchenko said that the Ukrainian and Russian military are engaged in artillery duels near Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. In addition, there are shooting battles at very short distances.

According to the data of the Dutch OSINT project Oryx, the Russian invaders lost at least 103 units of military equipment in just three days of the offensive near Vugledar and Avdiivka. Among the losses were 36 combat tanks.
