The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has received applications to compile the credentials of people’s deputies from Nataliya Korolevska and her husband Yury Solod, who were elected to the parliament from the currently banned “Opposition Platform – For Life” party.
“Applications for drawing up the credentials of a people’s deputy of Ukraine to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have been received. It’s official,” said the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
The Speaker of the Parliament added that, accordingly, the deprivation of mandates will take place in a legal manner – in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine. “We are waiting for the statements of other fugitives,” – emphasized the speaker of the VR.
Battalion “Dubai” – what is known about Korolivska and Soloda
In January, “Ukrainian Pravda” published an investigation into the departure of Natalya Korolevska and her husband Yuriy Solod, as well as a number of other odious members of the pro-Russian OPZZH, to the United Arab Emirates.
According to journalists, Korolevska lives with her husband at the Address Beach Resort in Dubai. She and Malt were spotted in the office of Emaar, the largest developer in the metropolis, in mid-October.
The media learned from sources in the construction business that the family purchased real estate in Dubai for $10 million. According to HUR representatives, Korolevska was among the persons whom Medvedchuk offered to stay in Ukraine and seize power immediately after the theoretical occupation.
Separately, journalist Mykhailo Tkach suggested that the spouses of pro-Russian deputies became residents of the UAE. They were spotted queuing at the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority. “And this means that either Korolivska, or Solod, or both deputies of the Ukrainian parliament have already become residents of the United Arab Emirates,” Tkach wrote.
Even then, Korolevska and Solod wrote statements about drawing up the powers of people’s deputies, but they were not deprived of their powers.
