The occupiers are trying to conduct offensive operations in the Kupyan, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Shakhtar directions.

Russian troops, despite significant frontline losses, continue to attempt offensives in five directions.

“The enemy does not give up its invasion plans, despite significant losses. The main efforts are focused on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk, and Shakhtarsk directions,” reads the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on the Facebook social network .

It is noted that no offensive groups of the enemy were detected in the Volyn, Poliske, Siversk and Slobozhansk directions.

As noted in the General Staff, during the day, the areas of more than 20 settlements were subjected to enemy shelling. Among them are Veterinarne, Kozacha Lopan, Strelechtya, Ogurtsevoe, Vesele, and Chervone Pershe in the Kharkiv region.

Also, in the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the enemy shelled the settlements of Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Hryanivikka, Kupyansk, and Berestov in the Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Chervonopivka, Dibrova, Belogorivka of Luhansk region and Spirne – Donetsk region.

In the direction of Bakhmut, more than 18 districts of settlements, in particular, Zaliznyanske, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishcheivka, Kurdyumivka and New York of the Donetsk region, came under fire.

In addition, in the Avdiyiv and Shakhtar directions, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of 13 areas of populated areas. Among them are Avdiivka, Vodyane, Vesele, Nevelske, Georgiivka, Maryinka, Bogoyavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Zolota Niva, Vugledar and Nenudne of the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the areas of the Vremyivka settlements of the Donetsk region and Malynivka, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaki, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka and Biloghirya – Zaporizhzhia were hit by fire.

At the same time, in the Kherson direction, the suburbs and the city of Kherson, as well as the districts of more than 20 settlements, including Beryslav, Kozatske, Vesele, Antonivka, Veletenske, and Berehove of the Kherson region, were affected by enemy artillery fire.

We will remind, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on February 18, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out four strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Russian troops.
