Ukraine received the second part of additional financing for 203 million dollars from Great Britain through the World Bank project.

As reported on the website of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the total amount of the loan under the guarantees of Great Britain is 500 million dollars. USA.

The loan repayment period is 18.5 years with a five-year grace period. The interest rate is 0.25% per annum.

The funds raised will be used to pay social assistance to families with children and pay salaries to employees of state institutions of higher education.

“From the first days of the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Great Britain has been one of the leaders of assistance in all possible directions, including the provision of financial assistance to our state. This assistance makes it possible to continue uninterruptedly ensuring proper financing of priority expenses…” he noted. Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhii Marchenko.
