The occupiers struck dozens of strikes in 4 regions of Ukraine: the General Staff told where the enemy struck

During the day of February 18, the defense forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the area of ​​12 settlements.

As reported in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it refers to the settlements of Hryanikyvka and Masyutivka of the Kharkiv region; Bilogorivka, Chervonopivka and Kreminna – Luhansk and Vyimka, Fedorivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske and Hodynyk Yar of the Donetsk region.

According to the General Staff, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyansk, Lymansk, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivsk and Shakhtarsk directions.

“In the Volyn, Poliske, Siversk, and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy continues to hold certain units in the areas bordering Ukraine, however, his offensive groups have not been detected,” the message states.

The General Staff also informs that during the day the Russian occupiers carried out 4 air and 15 missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine, most of them on the civilian infrastructure of Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kherson regions. Also, the enemy launched more than 50 attacks from rocket salvo systems, continued to attack populated areas with other types of weapons.

“The threat of missile strikes by the Russian Federation remains high throughout the territory of Ukraine,” the headquarters notes.

At the same time, the Ukrainian aviation made 6 strikes during the day on areas where enemy forces were concentrated. Missile troops and artillery also hit 1 enemy manpower concentration area.

On the morning of Saturday, February 18, the Russian occupying forces fired 4 Kalibr cruise missiles at Ukraine from the Black Sea, half of them were destroyed.

Two strikes fell on Khmelnytskyi – on a military facility and near a public transport stop. As a result of the attack, two people were injured. The blast wave damaged three educational institutions, a dozen high-rise buildings, and hundreds of windows and balconies.

During this attack, the Russian Federation launched cruise missiles in a trajectory over the Southern Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), creating a high threat of a nuclear disaster.
