As the Russian “Interfax” reports, the request for the transportation of Russian gas through Ukraine has increased, updating the maximum since the beginning of January.
According to the report, the operator of the Ukrainian GTS has accepted an application for transit from Gazprom on February 21 with a volume of 40.3 million cubic meters.
Powers are declared for only one of the two entry points to the country’s gas transmission system — the Suja gas measuring station. The application was not accepted for the corridor through the Zberezhivka GIS (capable of providing transit of more than 30 million cubic meters per day).
The indicator on February 20 was 39.2 million cubic meters (the maximum since the beginning of the year).
